Two brothers hope an inheritance will set them up for success but the money eludes them, ending up on a remote Indigenous reserve called Bird. Certain that this can be rectified, the two men from the big city land in this community that has made a pact which has failed, in every way, to bring prosperity. This film captures the complexity currently facing Indigenous communities across Canada as economic development threatens the traditional way of life and bypasses longstanding agreements.
