Time On Canadian Tour
Friday, November 17 @ 8 p.m.
Price: $39.75 + HST + ticket service fee
A brilliant musician in his own right, and a producer who has contributed significantly to the soundtracks of our lives, including groundbreaking albums by U2, Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jon Hassell, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Robbie Robertson, Neville Brothers, and Michael Brook.
Daniel Lanois (vocals, guitar, steel guitar) with Kyle Crane (drums) and Jim Wilson (bass, vocals).
The shows will include both songs and instrumentals.
From Daniel Lanois:
“I’m so looking forward to this ‘Time On’ Canadian tour. A beautiful jacket weather time of the year and much like the Ramones, we will be huddled up in a van, as we hit as many Canadian stops as we can.
My mates Kyle Crane, Jim Wilson and Wayne Lorenz will stand by me to present our most recent electro based discoveries, along with renditions of faves from the past. My old friend the Steel Guitar will be with me, and she’s ‘ringing better than ever’ and of course all my French Canadian songs will be included in the set for the Quebec nights.
The title ‘Time On’ came to me after a conversation with a friend, when we agreed that time off is something we have never experienced, we move into the future, with Time as our magic carpet, guided by our first love and trusted navigator, MUSIC.
Hope you can join us!”

Canada’s first spaceship commander, Colonel Chris Hadfield is traveling the country presenting his Canada 151 performance. The show will include Hadfield sharing a selection of stories, images, songs and ideas about the nation he is so proud to call home. Going back as far as its earliest inhabitants and touching on anything from geology to space travel Chris truly delves into what – and who – has made Canada into the country it is today. Customizing his performance to each audience, everyone is sure to leave with a sense that Canada is truly “out of this world”.
“I am so looking forward to sharing what I’ve seen and learned as a Canadian in orbit, an astronaut looking at Canada and the world,” said Colonel Chris Hadfield.
As one of the most seasoned and accomplished astronauts in the world, Colonel Hadfield offers his unique perspective by looking at the history and future of Canada through its people and the land itself. Performing songs like his fun-living, patriotic single “In Canada,” to his evocative “Beyond the Terra” that looks away from the land to the skies, Colonel Hadfield ties his presentation together with stories of great Canadians and tales from his incredible career. Through his 21-years as an astronaut, three spaceflights and 2600 orbits of Earth, Colonel Hadfield has become a worldwide sensation. In 1992 he was selected by the Canadian Space Agency as a NASA Mission Specialist – Canada’s first fully qualified Space Shuttle crewmember. In November 1995 while aboard Shuttle Atlantic, he was the first Canadian to operate the Canadarm in space, and to board a Russian spacecraft as he helped build space station “Mir.” In 2001, Colonel Hadfield was the first Canadian to perform two spacewalks and in 2013 he was the first and only Canadian Commander of the International Space Station. While in orbit, Hadfield was a constant presence on social media and produced what is considered to be the first music video shot in space, a version of David Bowie’s Space Oddity, which has been viewed over 16 million times.
